On the International Day to End Impunity, November 23rd, the Southeast Asian Press Alliance (SEAPA) will be going to the Embassy of the Philippines in Bangkok to hand over a letter strongly requesting that President Aquino expedite the trial of the suspects in the Ampatuan Massacre; during which 58 people, including 32 media workers were brutally killed in Philippines on this day in 2009.
Join us to cover the event and in a show of solidarity for slain journalists worldwide and demand an end to impunity.
We will be meeting outside the Embassy at 1:45 pm.
The Philippine Embassy is located on Soi Philippine - better known as Sukhumvit Soi 30, midway between the Phrom Phong and Thong Lo Bts Skytain stations.

เนื่องในโอกาสวันรณรงค์สากลเพื่อยุติการไม่รับโทษของผู้กระทำผิดในวันที่ 23 พฏศจิกายน 2554 เครือข่ายสิทธิเสรีภาพสื่อมวลฃนในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้หรือซีป้าจะเข้ายืนจดหมายกับตัวแทนของสถานฑูตฟิลืปปินส์ กรุงเทพ เพื่อเรียกร้องให้ประธานาธิบดี นอย นอย อาคิโน จูเนียร์ เร่งรัดให้มีการพิจารณาคดีสังหารหมู่ชาวฟิลิปปินส์ที่จังหวัดมากินดาเนา ทางตอนใต้ของฟืลืปปืนส์ ในวันเดียวกันนี้ เมื่อปี 2552 ซึ่งในครั้งนั้นมีผู้เสียชีวิตทั้งหมด 58 คน และในจำนวนนี้มีผู้สื่อข่าว 32 คน
