ผู้ต้องหา : ชายชาวเชียงราย 3
ภูมิหลังผู้ต้องหา : ประกอบอาชีพเป็นข้าราชการที่สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดเชียงราย จากคำบอกเล่าอ้างว่าไม่เคยร่วมชุมนุมกับกลุ่มนปช.
การกระทําที่ถูกกล่าวหา : เขาถูกกล่าวหาว่าไปร่วมกิจกรรมกินแมคโดนัลด์ต่อต้านรัฐประหาร ที่ร้านอาหารแมคโดนัลด์ ห้างสรรสินค้าเซ็นทรัล จ.เชียงราย โดยได้นัดแนะกันบนเฟซบุ๊ก ทั้งนี้เขาได้ถือป้ายและถ่ายภาพการทำกิจกรรมไว้ด้วย
พฤติการณ์การจับกุม : เขารวมกลุ่มกับกิจกรรมกินแมคโดนัลด์ต่อต้านรัฐประหาร และร่วมชูป้ายถ่ายรูปในช่วงสายของวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2557 หลังจากนั้นเวลา 12.57 น. เจ้าหน้าที่ทหารชุดจับกุมได้รับข้อมูลจากหน่วยข่าวกรองทางการสอบสวนว่าจะมีคนทำผิดกฎหมายโดยฝ่าฝืนคำสั่งห้ามชุมนุมมั่วสุมทางการเมืองมากกว่า 5 คน ขึ้นไป โดยมีหลักฐานคือกระดาษที่เขียนข้อความด้วยปากกาเคมีทั้งหมด 4 แผ่นว่า “เลือกตั้ง” “NoCoup” “ขอเลือกตั้งขอเสียงประชาชน” “เอาอิสรภาพของประชาชนคืนมา” เขาถูกจับพร้อมกับชายชาวเชียงรายอีก 2 คน และหญิงชาวเชียงราย 1 คน
ข้อหา : ฝ่าฝืนประกาศ คสช. ฉบับที่ 7/2557 เรื่องห้ามชุมนุมทางการเมือง

25 พฤษภาคม 2557 ไปร่วมกิจกรรม ถูกจับกุมและถูกควบคุมตัวที่ค่ายเม็งรายมหาราช
31 พฤษภาคม 2557 ได้ยื่นประกันตัวเองด้วยวงเงินประกัน 20,000 บาท แต่พนักงานสอบสวนยังทำสำนวนไม่เสร็จ จึงถูกพาตัวไปขออำนาจศาลฝากขังเป็นเวลา 12 วัน
1 มิถุนายน 2557 – ถูกคุมตัวไปที่สถานีตำรวจภูธรเมืองเชียงรายเป็นเวลาหนึ่งวันกว่าๆ แต่เนื่องจากพนักงานสอบสวนยังทำสำนวนไม่เสร็จ จึงถูกนำตัวไปขออำนาจศาลในการฝากขังผลัดแรกเป็นเวลา 12 วัน
2 มิถุนายน 2557 – ถูกคุมตัวไปที่ศาลจังหวัดทหารเชียงราย เพื่อฝากขัง หลังศาลมีคำสั่งฝากขังจึงถูกนำตัวไปไว้ที่เรือนจำ จ.เชียงราย ราวครึ่งวัน ต่อมาทนายความยื่นขอประกันตัว และศาลอนุญาให้ประกันด้วยด้วยหลักทรัพย์ 20,000 บาท
10 มิถุนายน 2557 เวลาประมาณ 09.13 น. เขาเข้าไปรายงานตัว ณ ศาลจังหวัดทหารบกจังหวัดเชียงราย ทุกอย่างเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อย และจะต้องมารายงานตัวเพื่อฝากขังผลัด 2 อีกครั้งในวันที่ 13 มิถุนายน 2557

Accused : Chiang Rai resident 3 (Preecha Kaewkumpa, 53 years old)
Background of accused : He works as a government official at Chiang Rai Provincial Public Health Office. According to his saying, he claimed that he has never taken part in any of UDD’s rallies.
Alleged offence : He was alleged to participate in “Eating McDonald’s to protest against the coup” activity at Central Plaza Mall in Chiang Rai province by making the activity preparation through Facebook. Regard to the activity, he carried a sign and took pictures of the event as well.
Circumstance of Arrest : He has joined the political gathering at McDonald’s and showed anti-coup symbol and took the pictures of the incident in the late morning of 25 May 2014. After that, at 12.57 p.m, the military officials have been reported from its Investigative Intelligence Division that there was a violation on the prohibition of political assembly of more than 5 people based on the evidences which were 4 sheets of paper written “Election”, “No Coup”, “Need election, need people’s voice”, and “Give back our freedom.” He was therefore arrested together with 2 men and 1 woman.

Progress of case :
25 May 2014 – He participated in the activity then was arrested and detained at Mengrai Maharaj military camp for 7 days.
31 May 2014 - He tried to self-bail in the sum of 20,000 Baht but it was denied due to the incompletion of the case’s report.
1 June 2014 - He was moved to Chiang Rai Police Station and detained there for one night. In the next day h and and as an investigation officer hasn’t finished the case’s report yet; therefore, he would be taken to the court for requesting the first phase of detention for 12 days.
2 June 2014 - He was taken to Chiang Rai Military Court for the detention request. After the court granted its detention order, he was confined at Chiang Rai Remand Prison. However, his lawyer posted the bail in the same day and the court permitted to release him on bail in the sum of 20,000 Baht.
10 June 2014 - Around 09.13 a.m, Mr. Preecha came to report himself to the Chiang Rai Military Court. Everything went well in order on that day. He had to report himself again for the second phase of the detention on 13 June 2014.
